The Hamblen Foundation, Inc., is a Not For Profit organization dedicated to promoting and fostering careers in the trades within the community of St. Augustine, Florida.
The Hamblen Foundation has a rich history that traces back to the estate of Charles F. Hamblen, the former owner of Hamblen Hardware in St. Augustine. Charles Hamblen had a strong desire to support the “working man” of St. Augustine.
The mission of the Hamblen Foundation, Inc., is to empower residents by providing scholarships and organizing educational events that inspire and encourage individuals to pursue fulfilling careers in various trade industries, and to remove financial barriers and empower individuals to access trade education and training, fostering economic stability and growth within the community.
The Hamblen Foundation, Inc., firmly believes that trades play a vital role in the growth and development of our community and is committed to nurturing generations of skilled tradespeople who will contribute to the growth, prosperity, and innovation of St. Augustine.
